Château Grand-Puy Ducasse is a Fifth Growth estate situated in the Pauillac appellation. Since 2004, the property is owned by Crédit Agricole Grand Crus, which also owns Château de Rayne Vigneau and Château Meyney. The 1982 vintage is a medium-bodied wine with notes of berry fruit, cedarwood and spices. A very elegant release from the Château.
85 Vinous
Full red-ruby. Aromas of redcurrant, tobacco, spices and earth, with a slight roasted aspect. Sweet, fat and warm with alcohol; loaded with fruit but could use a bit more definition. Finishes with some free-floating acidity.
