Located within the Saint-Julien appellation, Château Gloria was established by Henri Martin – a Bordeaux wine merchant – in the early 1940s. Martin purchased several plots of vineyards and combined them to create the Château. Over the years, the estate has gained a reputation for producing high-quality wines that offer excellent value for money. Château Gloria covers approximately 50 hectares, and it is planted to Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. While the 1993 vintage may not have been regarded as outstanding due to certain weather conditions, Château Gloria`s dedication to quality winemaking ensures that even in more challenging years, they strive to craft wines of remarkable character and expression.
