Competitive storage rates: £15 per 12-bottle case per year, £7.50 per 6-bottle case per year, equivalent to £1.25 per standard bottle. Alternative formats will be charged accordingly.

Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

The Glenglassaugh 51 Year Old – Cask No. 1723 is an exceptional single cask release, matured in an Oloroso puncheon for over five decades on the rugged Moray coast. Its molten bronze colour reflects the depth and intensity of the whisky within. The nose is rich and evocative, offering layers of sun-dried raisin, blood orange preserve and maraschino cherry, underpinned by warming sandalwood, spiced vetiver and a gentle hint of sea salt. This is a whisky where the influence of sherry cask and shoreline meet in perfect balance.

On the palate, it unfolds in enveloping waves of complexity – notes of raisin balsamic and blackberry jus merge with salted treacle, infused with orange zest and sloe syrup. Bottled at 44.2% ABV, this 51-year-old expression captures both the lush, oxidative depth of long Oloroso maturation and Glenglassaugh’s unmistakable coastal character. A remarkably expressive and meditative dram, it stands as a tribute to time, tradition and terroir.

A Traditional Coastal Malt

Glenglassaugh is a Highland single malt whisky distillery located in located in the picturesque coastal village of Portsoy in Banffshire. Founded in 1875, the distillery was in operation only very briefly until the 1960s and for much of its life was under the radar of most single malt enthusiasts.

That changed in 2008 when the distillery was purchased by the Scaent Group. Their acquisition breathed new life into Glenglassaugh, which after years of inactivity resumed production in earnest in November 2008. The distillery’s first release under its new ownership was the appropriately named Revival, finished in oloroso Sherry casks. Around this time Glenglassaugh also released several new bottlings from archive stock which were greeted with wide acclaim.
