One of Glenfiddich`s most prized single malts. Vatted from various casks selected by their in-house Malt Master, this 40 year old whisky has won numerous awards over the years, including "best of the best" single malt at Whisky Magazine in 2003.

Flavour-wise, this is bursting with intense dried fruit, Christmas cake, dates, raisins and stewed apples. The mouthfeel is luxurious and silky with a long, evolving finish.

The World's Favourite Single Malt

Founded in Dufftown in 1886 by William Grant, the first whisky ran off the stills at Glenfiddich on Christmas Day in 1887. The distillery is located in the glen of the river Fiddich, a name derived from the Scottish Gaelic Gleann Fhiodhiach or "valley of the deer". Now one of the most famous and best selling single malts in the world, Glenfiddich made their name producing an easy drinking, mellower style of Scottish whisky, epitomised by their iconic 12 year old.

Beyond the core range, a series of limited edition single cask bottlings showcase the age-worthiness of Glenfiddich while a series of experimental bottlings demonstrate the team are not afraid of progress and innovation - see Glenfiddich Orchard Experiment, which is finished in ex-English apple brandy casks and Glenfiddich IPA Finish, which spends time maturing in casks that previously held India Pale Ale.
