Glenfarclas 32 Year Old Family Cask 4335 1986 is a single-cask Highland single malt from the Glenfarclas distillery`s renowned Family Cask series. Distilled in 1986 and matured in a refill Sherry butt, this whisky showcases the elegance and punch typical of long-term ageing at Glenfarclas. The profile is marked by typical waxy notes, orange and Mirabelle plum, accompanied by significant spices like clove and cinnamon. On the palate, it balances apricot jam with ginger, walnut and a medium oakiness, finishing with a lingering notes of tobacco and bitter orange that reflect its three decades in wood.

A Family Owned Distillery

Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.

The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
