The Glenfarclas 32-Year-Old Family Cask 13031 is a single-cask, cask-strength Speyside single malt noted for its exclusive use of Sherry casks. This specific cask bottling exhibits a classic, powerful and deeply sherried profile, marked by dark mahogany colour and intense aromas of Christmas pudding, dried figs, black forest gateau and leather polish. The palate is full-bodied, rich with layers of wood spice, coffee grounds and treacle, offering a lengthy, warming finish that demonstrates the depth of Glenfarclas` Sherry maturation.

A Family Owned Distillery

Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.

The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
