Glenfarclas 21 Years Old Family Cask 3327, distilled in 2002, is an age-statement single malt whisky from a renowned Speyside distillery. Aged in a single Sherry hogshead, this expression represents a meticulous maturation process that spans two decades. The release consisted of a limited 285 bottles, making it a distinct addition to the Family Cask series. Characteristics include notes of dried fruit and nuts coupled with a subtle oak influence.

A Family Owned Distillery

Glenfarclas is one of very few privately owned Scottish distilleries having been in the hands of the Grant family for six generations from the mid-1800s until the present day. Glenfarclas operate three wash stills and four spirit stills and take their water from springs around the nearby Ben Rinnes mountain.

The distillery have a focus on high quality, flavourful spirits matched with high quality ex-Sherry barrels from Jerez de la Frontera. The core range is impressively consistent featuring a 10 year old, 15 year old, 18 year and 21 year old. A limited edition 30 year old is released annual and special mention should go to 105 Caskk Strength - a superb non-age-statement cask strength single malt bottled at 57.5% ABV.
