On the nose, The GlenAllachie 35 year old reveals rich aromas of mocha, cinnamon, heather honey, and pineapple, complemented by subtle notes of raisins, pomegranate, and eucalyptus. The palate is a complex fusion of dark chocolate, mocha, raisins, and dried fruits, balanced with the sweetness of heather honey, treacle, and pineapple, all enhanced by delicate hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.

Handcrafted in the UK, the substantial presentation box boasts hand-carved detailing at its base, a plush moleskin-colored lining, a solid brass `angle,` a plaque celebrating the cask selection, and a removable oak plinth designed to hold the decanter.

Glenallachie

One of the Last Independent Distilleries

GlenAllachie was founded in Aberlour in 1967 at the foot of the Ben Rinnes mountains. Initially, the distillery was known for contributing its spirit to a number of Scottish blended whiskies and kept a relatively low profile with very few bottlings of single malt available. That all changed in 2017 when Billy Walker, Trisha Savage and Graham Stevenson came together to form the GlenAllachie Distillers Company and agree the purchase of the distillery from the then owners Chivas Brothers.

The revitalised GlenAllachie is quickly becoming home to some of the most innovative and interesting bottlings in Scotland. The core range includes an outstanding 8 year old, finished in Oloroso casks, virgin oak and red wine barriques while the 15 year old offers big Sherry notes that fans of Macallan, Glen Grant and Glenfarclas will surely enjoy.
