Domaine Denis Mortet Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes 2010 is a medium-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Gevrey-Chambertin commune of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, Denis Mortet is a family-owned estate run by Laurence Mortet and her two children, Clémence and Arnaud. The domaine was originally founded in 1956 by Charles Mortet with just a single hectare of vines to his name. "The 2010 Gevrey-Chambertin Vieilles Vignes blossoms onto the palate with an effortless grace that is hard to describe with mere words. There is tremendous depth and richness in the glass, but no heaviness whatsoever. Layers of fruit radiate through to the generous, resonant, yet ethereal finish. This is a stunning wine for the appellation." Wine Advocate, 2012
