The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin from Dujac Fils & Père is a village-level Pinot Noir hailing from the Côte de Nuits. Sourced from various parcels within the appellation, the 2023 vintage is characterised by red cherry aromas, alongside subtle earthy spices. While presenting an approachable nature in its youth, it maintains a backbone of acidity. Dujac Fils & Père operates as the négociant arm of the renowned Domaine Dujac.

The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Village reveals aromas of cherries, spices and petals, followed by a medium-bodied, velvety and perfumed palate that`s framed by fine, powdery tannins. - William Kelley
Vinous
The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Village has a light earthy bouquet that would benefit from a little more fruit concentration. The palate is medium-bodied with sour cherry on the entry, light tannins and quite a dry finish. Early-drinking.Neal Martin1st January 2025

A Focus on Terroir

Founded in the late 1960s by Jacques Seysses, who purchased and renovated Domaine Graillet in Morey-St-Denis. The estate is currently run by Jacques' sons Jeremy and Alec, who farm around 17 hectares of vines across the Côte including holdings in Echezeaux, Clos de la Roche, Charmes-Chambertin and Bonnes Mares.

A natural approach is taken in the vineyard and cellar with the estate moving from organic farming to fully biodynamic in the mid 2000s, receiving their certification in 2011. The team's focus is on elegance - temperatures are controlled to keep alcohol in check and also limit malolactic fermentation while juice from the crush is fed into the cellar by gravity only without the use of pumping. The wines of Domaine Dujac represent pure, balanced expressions of their respective terroirs.
