Sweet black fruits make up the aromatic profile of the 2002 Gevrey-Chambertin. Pure, vibrant, and expressive, this silky-textured wine reveals loads of candied black fruit flavors in its lengthy personality. Drink it over the next 5 years. - Pierre Rovani

Dee p red. Superripe aromas of black raspberry, coffee and nutty oak; seems a bit less precise than the en Champs. Sweet but quite young, even a bit musclebound. Currant and spice flavors. Nicely balanced wine with fine tannins.Stephen Tanzer1st March 2005
