Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Château Figeac was the only estate to be upgraded to Premier Grand Cru Classé A in the 2022 classification of Saint-Émilion. Owned by the Manoncourt family since 1892, this fine estate traces its history back to the Roman era. Today, the property spans approximately 40 hectares of vineyards, with the majority of the grapes going into the celebrated Grand Vin, a classic style of Saint-Émilion with wonderful texture and tannic power. In Bordeaux, the 2001 vintage proved to be a variable one, with several red wines not matching the exceptional quality of the preceding 2000 vintage. Nonetheless, it was on the Right Bank that some of the region`s finest wines emerged.

As expected, the 2001 Figeac in large format is much more backward than numerous encounters in bottle. The initial red fruits (cranberry and raspberry) are soon usurped by black fruit mixed with truffle and incense, with light gravelly scents in the background. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with very expressive Cabernets, dried blood and clove; it fans out with brio towards the finish. While regular formats are à point, this double magnum needs several years. Open, confident, classical, terroir-dominated nose. Neat rather than mind-blowing. Very delicately balanced and lively. Transparent. So different from most St Emilions! Very dry finish with lots of minerality. Real life and zest and no hint of oak or over-ripeness. Long. (JR)

An Elegant Right Bank Estate

Château Figeac is one of the finest producers in Saint-Émilion and is just one of fourteen properties classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé (B) in 2012, putting it firmly in the highest echelons of the region.

Owned by the Manoncourt family since 1892, the history of this superb estate can be traced back to the Roman era and today spans 40ha. The majority of the grapes produced go into producing the celebrated first wine of the estate, Château Figeac, a classic style of Saint-Émilion with wonderful texture and tannic power. A small amount of the second wine, Le Petit Figeac is also produced.
