Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Château-Figeac is the highly regarded wine estate in Saint-Émilion that has been recently promoted to the coveted spot of Premier Grand Cru Classé A. It is among the largest properties in the region, comprising 54 hectares in one single block, of which 41 hectares are vineyards. This is their grand vin from the 1983 vintage, a blend composed of 35% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot and 35% Cabernet Franc. The wine is full-bodied but soft, showing beautifully mature flavours including dried fruits, tobacco, toast and a touch of leather.

This is easily the best bottle of 1983 Figeac I have tasted. Served blind, it has an open, red berry, earthenware-tinged bouquet that reveals dark chocolate touches with time. Still very Left Bank in style. The palate has slightly gritty tannins, but there is a little more fruit than in other bottles. It's a little herbaceous towards the finish but with decent length, considering the vintage. This surpasses the ex-château bottle poured at the Berlin vertical.Neal Martin26th January 2023

Herbal licorice, new wood, vanilla, cedar, and a hint of spice box all are in the nose, but in the mouth this wine is cracking up, losing its fruit and becoming increasingly desiccated/austere. The tannin kicks in, and the fruit seems to be fading quickly. This was once a delicious but never outstanding example that needed to be drunk up 4 or 5 years ago. An Elegant Right Bank Estate

Château Figeac is one of the finest producers in Saint-Émilion and is just one of fourteen properties classified as Premier Grand Cru Classé (B) in 2012, putting it firmly in the highest echelons of the region.

Owned by the Manoncourt family since 1892, the history of this superb estate can be traced back to the Roman era and today spans 40ha. The majority of the grapes produced go into producing the celebrated first wine of the estate, Château Figeac, a classic style of Saint-Émilion with wonderful texture and tannic power. A small amount of the second wine, Le Petit Figeac is also produced.
