Château Ducluzeau is a Bordeaux wine estate that has been owned by the same family since 1740 and it is now managed by Bruno Borie. Situated in the Listrac-Médoc appellation, the vines are planted on a plateau, 400 meters above sea level, on soil made up of light gravel with a clay-siliceous structure. The chateau’s wines are Merlot-dominant and typically matured for 12 months in oak – 20% in new oak barrels and 80% in one-year-old barrels.
