Château du Tertre is a Fifth Growth property situated in Arsac, within the Margaux appellation. The estate covers approximately 52 hectares of vineyards of which 70% are now biodynamic. The 1982 vintage shows a lively bouquet of a classic mature Left Bank, suggesting aromas of pencil, cedar box and herbs. Impeccable balance on the palate, with resolved tannins and enough acidity to keep freshness.

Vinous
- (50% cabernet sauvignon, 25% cabernet franc, 20% merlot and 5% petit verdot): Amber-tinged red. Captivating nose offers tertiary aromas of faded rose, orange peel and spicecake, along with delicate nuances of strawberry, raspberry and vanilla. Fresh and juicy on entry, showing lovely, delicate red berry and floral flavors nicely extended on the back by lively acidity. Once again, the cabernet franc component is very obvious here and gives the wine a strongly floral personality. This very pretty midweight finishes long and pure, though I would suggest drinking it up soon.
