A quintessential Blanc de Blancs, Dom Ruinart was first produced in 1959 and is made entirely from Chardonnay grown in grand cru sites in the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims. The 2010 vintage is described by Ruinart Cellar Master, Frédéric Panaïotis as follows, “This is a combination of a vintage with great tension and a major turning point in winemaking, with bottling aged under cork”.

The 2010 Dom Ruinart is as magnificent as it has always been. Once again, I am mesmerized by the wine’s freshness, precision and detail, especially in a vintage that was so challenging in Champagne. The 2010 will be one of the most enduring legacies of Chef de Cave Frédéric Panaïotis' life and career. Antonio Galloni27th June 2025

Lightly burnished gold with a fine column of persistent bubbles, Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs 2010 Extra Brut is a Grand Cru blend with 90% Côte des Blancs fruit and 10% from Sillery in Montagne de Riems. It was fermented in stainless steel before aging a minimum of nine years under cork and finished with a four grams per liter dosage. Expressive from the start, it opens to complex aromas of toasty brioche, lemon tart, creme fraiche and subtle hints of smoke. Medium-bodied with a supple acid frame, it has an understated richness and a very creamy, vibrant and ripe yellow apple palate that finishes long and fresh. The bottle tasted was disgorged August of 2022.Sarah Mayo8th November 2023

One of Champagne's Oldest
Founded in Reims in 1729 by Nicolas Ruinart (the nephew of legendary Benedictine monk Dom Ruinart), Ruinart is one of the oldest champagne houses in France. The Ruinart style is characterised by its supreme elegance and finesse. A key cuvée is the Ruinart Blanc de Blancs - the house’s signature champagne - made using 100% Chardonnay grapes from vineyards in the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims.
The Chardonnay variety is at the heart of all of the house's cuvees, including the Ruinart Rosé Brut, which is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, mostly sourced from Premier Cru vineyards, in addition to the Dom Ruinart Blanc de Blancs and the Ruinart Brut.
