Adrien Dhondt is one of the most exciting new generation winemakers in Champagne. This is an Extra Brut 100% Chardonnay from 55-year-old vines in the chalky soils of the Cramant Grand Cru. It is rich, full-bodied and vinous with impressive notes of white fruits, fino sherry and white flower blossom. A wonderfully gourmand wine this would pair very well with oysters or fresh seafood.

The NV Extra-Brut Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Cramant (2020) was disgorged this year with less than one gram per liter dosage. Exhibiting aromas of pear, orange zest, toasted hazelnuts and dried white flowers, it`s medium to full-bodied, ample and fleshy, with a seamless, enveloping profile and a long, saline finish. It`s another brilliant wine from Adrien Dhondt. - William Kelley

The NV Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs emerges from 55-year-old vines in Cramant. It is a powerful wine, but also surprisingly austere and closed in on itself, as if all of the energy of old vines focused inwards. This release is based on 2016, with the addition of 30% reserve wines, done entirely in barrel. Dosage is 3 grams per liter. Disgorged: March, 2019.Antonio Galloni1st November 2020
