Château de Pez 1995 is a classic Saint-Estèphe blend, predominantly composed of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This vintage reflects the character of the 1995 Bordeaux harvest, known for its ripe fruit and exceptional ageing potential. The wine showcases a deep garnet hue, with pronounced aromas of blackberries, leather and cedar. A firm tannic structure defines the palate, providing a complex interplay of dark fruit and earthy undertones.

Robert Parker
The new owners, the Roederer Champagne firm, have obtained more richness, fruit, and concentration in this northern Medoc cru bourgeois estate. The 1995 possesses excellent color, a sweet, jammy, blackcurrant aroma, a monolithic but well-proportioned and concentrated feel on the palate, low acidity, and mature tannin in the finish. This tasty, mouthfilling St.-Estephe should drink well when released and last for a decade. - Robert M. Parker, Jr.
