De Lamarque 2010 is a red blend from the Haut-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, classified as a Cru Bourgeois. The blend commonly includes 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot and 10% Petit Verdot. The estate spans approximately 37 hectares, with vineyards planted on well-drained gravel and clay soils. Château de Lamarque boasts a long history dating back to the 15th century and has been consistently owned by the same family, the Gromand-Brunet d`Evry, since 1839.

Vinous
The 2010 Lamarque has an attractive bouquet with brambly red fruit laced with cedar and tobacco, well defined and focused. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, quite graphite in style with a slightly dry, yet still attractive finish. Fine. Tasted blind at Farr Vintners 10-Year On Bordeaux horizontal.
