Château Dauzac 1995 is a notable vintage from this Fifth Growth estate in Margaux, Bordeaux, which spans 49 hectares of vine-growing land. Comprising Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, this wine reflects the character of the 1995 growing season, marked by favourable climatic conditions. The wine typically offers aromas of dark fruit and floral notes on the nose. On the palate, it presents a medium to full body with structured tannins and a lingering finish.

A broodingly backward, tannic, dark ruby-colored wine, Dauzac`s 1995 borders on being too austere, but there is enough sweet black currant fruit, as well as medium body and a fleshy mid-palate to elicit enthusiasm. While this will never be a great claret, it is a well-made, competent Margaux that will age nicely. Anticipated maturity. 2003-2015.
