Dalmore Sherry Finesse is a limited-edition Highland single malt whisky produced at the Dalmore Distillery in Alness, Scotland. Distilled way back in 1978, this rare etra-aged bottling of Dalmore`s peated Highland single malt was matured for more than three decades and finished in Sherry casks from Gonzalez Byass. It was bottled in 2011 at an ABV of 46%, with just 477 bottles filled.

The Archetypal Highland Malt

Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, Dalmore is one of the Highland's most recognisable distilleries. Overlooking the Cromarty Firth, the distillery houses four pairs of stills and produces just over four millions litres of spirit a year. Almost as famous as the distillery itself is Richard Paterson, master blender for many decades, Richard has done much to popularise the Dalmore brand and Scottish whisky more broadly.

Dalmore 12, 15 and 18 year old are all firm favourites with whisky lovers, while their run of single vintage whiskies bottled as part of the "Constellation Collection" series have kept collectors happy. The Cigar Malt and King Alexander III are excellent non-age-statement additions to the core range while the limited annual release of Dalmore 21 year old usually sells as in a heart beat.
