Dalmore 58 Year Old Sirius 1951 is a single malt Scotch whisky from the Highland region, distilled in 1951 and bottled in 2009. Only 12 decanters of this expression were released, making it a pinnacle of the distillery’s aged stocks. It features a nose of Manuka honey, molasses and crushed walnuts, leading to a palate that reveals layers of black forest fruits, liquorice and exotic spice. The 58-year maturation in a single oak cask has imparted a velvety texture and an enduring finish of dark cocoa and citrus zest, showcasing the graceful evolution of the Dalmore spirit over nearly six decades.

Dalmore

The Archetypal Highland Malt

Founded in 1839 by Alexander Matheson, Dalmore is one of the Highland's most recognisable distilleries. Overlooking the Cromarty Firth, the distillery houses four pairs of stills and produces just over four millions litres of spirit a year. Almost as famous as the distillery itself is Richard Paterson, master blender for many decades, Richard has done much to popularise the Dalmore brand and Scottish whisky more broadly.

Dalmore 12, 15 and 18 year old are all firm favourites with whisky lovers, while their run of single vintage whiskies bottled as part of the "Constellation Collection" series have kept collectors happy. The Cigar Malt and King Alexander III are excellent non-age-statement additions to the core range while the limited annual release of Dalmore 21 year old usually sells as in a heart beat.
