Château d`Issan 1990 is a full-bodied Left Bank Bordeaux from the Third Growth Château d`Issan located close to the village of Cantenac. The wines of this historic estate are reputed to have been served at the wedding of Aliénor d’Aquitaine to Henri Plantagenêt, the future king of England. The Issan Grand Vin is a Cabernet Sauvignon-based blend, with fruit sourced from the estate`s vineyards neighbouring some of the most famous châteaux of the appellation, including Château Margaux and Château Palmer. "The 1990 d`Issan is a light-bodied, fragrant wine with medium ruby color, spicy, sweet berry scents, medium body, moderate tannin, and decent concentration. It is tasty and supple in a light, delicate style. It should have 10-15 years of positive evolution in the bottle." Robert Parker, 1998
