This rare sighting was released by the mighty Signatory independent bottlers to celebrate their 30th anniversary. A nose of vanilla biscuits, orchard fruit and baking spice gets things started before white grape and citrus notes join on the palate. The finished is balanced with a floral honey note and a touch of cocoa.

Cragganmore
A Venerable Speyside Icon
Cragganmore was established on the Ballindalloch Castle estate by the river Spey in 1869. Still just 36 at the time, founder ‘Big’ John Smith had previously managed Macallan, Glenlivet, Wishaw and Glenfarclas distilleries. He chose the site owing to its proximity to both the waters of Craggan burn and the railway of Strathspey, which would be vital to the distillery’s growth. The distillery itself was built from greenstone hewn from the hill of Cragan Mor after which it was named.
Mostly matured in used Sherry casks, Cragganmore produces an aromatic, fruity, toffee-ed style of Speyside single malt which is noted among connoisseurs for its complexity. Cragganmore uses lightly a peated malt and distils using unique, short-necked, flat-topped stills which are responsible for its whisky’s distinctive flavour.
The distillery’s official bottlings includes the flagship 12-year-old, a 21-year-old vintage, a 25-year-old special release and a Cragganmore distiller's edition. Cragganmore is also the Speyside representative of owner Diageo's Classic Malts range.
