‘Côte-Rôtie La Landonne’ is a prestigious red wine produced by Domaine Rostaing in the Northern Rhône. It hails from the famed La Landonne vineyard, which is characterized by its steep, terraced slopes and iron-rich, clay, and schist soils. This particular terroir results in wines with remarkable depth, concentration and structure. The 1991 vintage is a deep and rich expression, with plenty of lush, dried blueberry and a very mineral core.

Deep bright ruby-red. Sappy aromas of raspberry, violet, smoked meat, mocha and brown spices. Very concentrated, deep and pliant, but not quite as vibrant or perfumed. Seems more massive and even sweeter than the Cote Blonde, but less evolved. Finishes very long, with pepper and spice notes and dark berry flavors.
