Domaine Rostaing stands as a prominent winery in the Côte-Rôtie region of the Northern Rhône. Renowned for its exceptional wines primarily crafted from Syrah, Rostaing offers a diverse range of Côte Rôtie selections, including cuvées sourced from the La Landonne and Côte Blonde subregions. The 1991 vintage has reached a beautiful stage of maturity, boasting luscious dark fruit flavours complemented by a savoury essence reminiscent of BBQ ribs. Despite its age, the wine retains its structured nature with tannins that provide a firm yet enjoyable grip.

Vinous
Red-ruby. Sweetly oaky aromas of raspberry and charred meat; this perfume should be bottled as Eau de Cote Rotie. Wonderfully sweet raspberry, floral, and fresh tobacco flavors; rich, very concentrated and thoroughly palate staining. Quintessential Cote Rotie sap. Beautifully integrated acids give the raspberry fruit terrific clarity and cut. Finishes very long and firm, with notes of pepper and woodsmoke. Sexy and harmonious from start to finish.
