The domaine consists of approximately 15 hectares, over half of which is situated in Grand Cru sites. This 2001 Clos de la Roche is a highly perfumed wine, offering mellow red fruits, dark cherries, violets, sous bois, hints of olive and orange peel. At the prime of its life.
87 Vinous
Medium, amber-edged red. Cherry, mocha and brown spices on the nose; a bit purer and livelier than the Mazy. Then sweet and full, with slightly green-edged plum and spice flavors. Rounder than the Mazy but could use more length.Stephen Tanzer1st March 2004
