The Clase Azul Pink Edition is an annual limited-edition tequila release created to raise breast cancer awareness. The spirit within the 2025 release is likely to follow the pattern of previous Pink Editions, which have been a joven tequila, a blend of unaged plata tequila with reposado and a touch of ultra añejo. These expressions have featured an extended fermentation process and some agave milled using a traditional tahona, methods employed to accentuate citrus and fruity notes. Tasting notes often include cooked agave, vanilla, caramel, almond and subtle woody characteristics, leading to a long smooth finish. The tequila is presented in a distinct, hand-painted pink ceramic decanter, a signature of Clase Azul, which is often adorned with thematic artwork honouring breast cancer survivors.

Inspired by Mexican culture and traditions, Clase Azul was founded Arturo Lomeli in 1997 with the objective of becoming an ultra-premium Tequila brand without equal. Clase Azul’s iconic decanters are handmade and individually hand-painted by a team of artisans in the town of Santa Maria Canchesda, Jalisco. The base spirit inside Clase Azul’s collectible decanter is of uncompromising quality, derived from organically farmed 100% blue agave which is aged for a minimum of six to eight years before being cooked in old masonry ovens, slowly fermented and distilled. Finally, the spirit is barrel-aged in a variety of vessels, from ex-Bourbon casks to wine barrels, to create Clase Azul’s impeccable range of Tequilas.
