Located in the Haut-Médoc appellation of Bordeaux, Château Cissac is a renowned wine estate covering approximately 100 hectares. The estate is planted predominantly with Cabernet Sauvignon, along with smaller amounts of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot. The wine is known for its classic Bordeaux style, displaying a harmonious blend of rich dark fruit flavours, elegant tannins, and a refined structure. With careful aging, Château Cissac`s Grand Vin develops further complexity and can offer a delightful drinking experience.

Bright purple. Quite gassy at this stage but very lively and much suppler than the old style Cissac. Lift and even a bit of feminine grace! Aérien even. Good wine, though longstanding fans may be puzzled by it. (JR)
