Chichibu Seven Gods of Fortune Ebisu Edition Single Cask 7075 2016 is a single malt whisky from the Chichibu Distillery in Japan. Chichibu is a revered producer, famous for its small-scale, artisanal approach and the cult status of its whiskies. This limited-edition bottling, the first in a series celebrating the Seven Gods of Fortune, was aged for six years in a second-fill ex-bourbon, ex-peated cask. It presents a bouquet of tropical fruits, sweet malt and a delicate wisp of smoke, with a touch of creamy vanilla. The palate is powerful yet refined, with a buttery texture and a long, complex finish that showcases the distillery`s unique character.

Chichibu Distillery is a Japanese whisky distillery located in the small town of Chichibu, northwest of Tokyo. Established in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, it is a relatively young distillery in the world of whisky-making, but has quickly gained a reputation for producing some of the finest single malt whiskies in Japan. Chichibu's whisky-making process is steeped in tradition and attention to detail. The distillery sources only the highest quality malted barley from around the world, and uses a combination of pot stills and column stills to distill the whisky.
