Château Chauvin 2015 hails from the north-west of Saint-Émilion. This vintage displays a blend of dark berry fruit and black pepper spice, nuanced by complexities arising from its age. The wine offers a rich mouthfeel, reflecting the terroir`s unique characteristics. Produced by Château Chauvin, known for its historical roots dating back to the 18th century, this bottle provides an opportunity to explore the evolution of a classic Bordeaux over time.
91 Robert Parker
The 2015 Chauvin is medium to deep garnet-purple in color and earthy on the nose with bay leaves, warm plums, underbrush, baked cherries and menthol aromas. The medium to full-bodied mouth is firm and chewy, a little taut but packed with flavor layers and finishing with an herbal lift. - Lisa Perrotti-Brown

The 2015 Chauvin is showing very well today. Floral notes add brightness to the red berry fruit. The 2015 offers terrific depth to go along with its powerful personality. Searing tannins are present, but also nearly buried by the fruit. Some slightly angular contours remain, but the Chauvin is nicely done. Tasted two times.
