The Châteauneuf-du-Pape Vieilles Vignes Grand Veneur 2010 is a notable expression from this famed appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Produced from a blend of 50% Grenache, 40% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah, this wine is crafted from vines aged between 55 to 105 years. Aged for 18 months in small oak barrels, it showcases structured blackberry and cassis notes, alongside hints of kirsch and subtle Provençal herbs. Domaine Grand Veneur, established in 1976 by Alain Jaume, is now in the capable hands of the sixth generation, continuing its legacy of quality winemaking.
