Châteauneuf-du-Pape Les Origines 2007 is a standout red from the renowned Domaine Grand Veneur in the Southern Rhône. The wine is a blend typical of the region, primarily driven by Grenache, with Mourvèdre, Syrah, and other permitted varietals adding depth and complexity. The 2007 vintage reveals rich fruit aromas of dark cherries, blackberries, and plums, interwoven with nuances of garrigue, leather, and subtle spices. The wine has a firm, structured profile with balanced acidity, making it a wine that will continue to age gracefully. Domaine Grand Veneur, founded in the late 19th century, is known for its commitment to quality, meticulous vineyard management, and traditional winemaking techniques, reflecting the unique terroir of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. A fine choice for those wishing to experience the depth and complexity of this historic region.
