Mas de Boislauzon Châteauneuf-du-Pape Quet 2005 is a full-bodied, blended red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. A blend, typically, of 70% Grenache and 30% Mourvedre, Cuvée de Quet is the flagship wine of the certified-biodynamic Mas de Boislauzon. Expect ripe, full-bodied and lushly hedonistic Chateauneuf. "The 2005 Chateauneuf du Pape Cuvee du Quet is also gorgeous, with tons of dark fruits, roasted meats, licorice and asphalt/tar like nuances on the nose. Big, full-bodied, deeply concentrated and still youthful, this is another awesome cuvee from this estate." Jeb Dunnuck, 2015

Vinous
- Bright ruby. Pungent raspberry, cherry and lavender on the nose, with a suave underpinning of minerals and baking spices. Riper cherry and blackcurrant on the palate, with slow-building mocha and plum jam qualities carrying into the finish. Deeper and more powerful than the regular bottling but lacks that wine's vivacity and cut. This will need more time to come around.
