Regarded as one of the most prestigious wine estates in the Rhône Valley, Château de Beaucastel boasts vineyards featuring vines up to 80 years old, thriving in the typical round pebbled soils of the region. Their wines are certified biodynamic and renowned for their elegance and remarkable ageing potential. The 1993 Côtes du Rhône Coudoulet de Beaucastel is a blend comprised of 40% Grenache, 30% Mourvèdre, 20% Syrah, and 10% Cinsault. Each grape variety was meticulously hand-harvested and processed separately, with sorting taking place in the cellar. The final blend was caried out after individual varietals completed their malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured for 6 months in oak foudres before bottling.
