Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc 2018 is a full-bodied blended white wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation of the southern Rhône Valley. Tracing its history back to 1549, when Pierre de Beaucastel purchased his first plot of Coudoulet vines, Château de Beaucastel has been operated since 1909 by successive generations of the Perrin family. Beaucastel continues to reside among the elite producers of the Châteauneuf region. "The 2018 Châteauneuf Du Pape Blanc takes it up a notch, offering rocking notes of white peach, quince, crushed rocks, and honeysuckle. It’s medium to full-bodied, with a beautiful core of sweet fruit, a layered texture, and a great finish. It’s unquestionably another beautiful wine, and while 2018 was challenging for the whites, you wouldn’t know it by tasting this." Jeb Dunnuck, 2019

The 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc is a delicious blend of Roussanne, Grenache Blanc, Clairette and Bourboulenc. Bright aromas of dried apple skin, quince, white peach, pastry, honey, verbena tea, hay and hints of petrol introduce this striking 2018 Blanc. This is a medium to full-bodied, refined white balanced by lively acidity. It concludes with great persistence on the nutty finish.Nicolas Greinacher1st June 2023
