Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape is one of the iconic red wines of the Southern Rhône. Château de Beaucastel`s history dates to 1549, when Pierre de Beaucastel acquired land in the Coudoulet area. In 1909, the Perrin family took control of the estate and has since been a pioneer in elevating Châteauneuf-du-Pape to the world stage.

The estate is renowned for producing terroir-driven red wines that incorporate all 13 traditional grape varieties of the appellation, including Grenache, Syrah, Mourvèdre, Cinsault, Muscardin, Vaccarèse, Counoise, Terret Noir, Picpoul, Clairette, Roussanne, Bourboulenc, and Picardan.

The 2006 Château de Beaucastel Châteauneuf-du-Pape delivers enticing aromas of plum and roast meat, accompanied by savoury notes. On the palate, it combines luscious dark fruit up front, complemented by an array of savoury elements on the mid-palate, including tobacco, cedar, mushroom, loam, and mineral nuances. The richness of the fruit balances perfectly with the complex savoury layers, making this wine a true tour de force. Presented in a magnum bottle.
