Château Musar 1970 is a mature red wine from the Bekaa Valley of Lebanon. The 1970 Château Musar is celebrated as one of the Lebanese producer`s greatest vintages, famously described by the late Serge Hochar as `mistakenly, the most Bordeaux wine I ever made` due to its high proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon. This red blend is noted for its powerful, complex profile that ranges from dark blue and red fruits to notes of dried fruit, tobacco, leather, smoked meat and mint, all framed by a distinctive Lebanese spice and herbaceousness. The palate is full-bodied, rich and velvety, offering concentrated fruit, a vibrant line of acidity and ripe, well-integrated tannins.
