Established by Gaston Hochar in 1930, Château Musar is undoubtedly Lebanon`s top wine estate. Their flagship red is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Cinsault from vineyards in the Bekaa Valley, aged in French oak barrels for around 12 months. The 1999 vintage offers vibrant aromas of ripe dark fruit, herbs, and a touch of oak. On the palate, it’s rich and full-bodied, with flavours of blackberries, plums, and tobacco, supported by firm tannins and a lingering finish.
