Established by Gaston Hochar in 1930, Chateau Musar is Lebanon`s leading wine estate. Their flagship red typically combines Cabernet Sauvignon, Carignan, and Cinsault sourced from Bekaa Valley vineyards and matures in French oak. This 1979 vintage release exhibits a clean nose with notes of liquorice and tobacco, complemented by damson fruit. The palate features earthy, leathery, and blackberry flavours, leading to a rounded, velvety finish.
