Château-Chalon Bourdy 1983 is a mature example of Vin Jaune from the renowned Jura region. Crafted solely from the Savagnin grape, this wine has spent a minimum of six years aging sous voile, resulting in a deep golden hue and a complex oxidative character. Aromas include walnut, curry spice and ginger, accompanied by a concentrated, savoury palate and marked acidity. The Bourdy family has farmed this estate since 1475, contributing to a legacy within the prestigious Château-Chalon appellation.
