The Egon Müller Scharzhof Riesling QbA 2014 showcases the distinct character of the Mosel region, known for its slate soils and moderate climate. This vintage presents a delicate balance of yellow plum and crisp apple aromas, underpinned by subtle earthy notes. The palate delivers a medium-bodied texture, with a lively acidity that enhances the wine`s structure. It culminates in a clean, expansive finish that invites further exploration. Egon Müller has been a leading producer in the Mosel since the 18th century, continuing a tradition of exceptional Riesling craftsmanship.

Vinous
- Pale, bright yellow. Lime, menthol, fresh herbs and white truffle on the nose. A supple, juicy, dry midweight with a slight alcoholic warmth but good shape to its citrus fruit, menthol and floral flavors. Finishes dusty and persistent, with a minty nuance and a distinct dryness. Solid more than complex or exciting. The name of this property has changed from Domaine Ramonet to Jean-Claude Ramonet, but Noël Ramonet still does the vineyard work, with an assist from his two sons, and brother Jean-Claude is responsible for the harvest and the vinification.
