Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Boudriotte 2013 is a full-bodied Burgundy white wine from the Premier Cru climat of Boudriotte in the Chassagne-Montrachet appellation of the Côte de Beaune. Based in Chassagne-Montrachet, Domaine Jean-Claude Ramonet is an acclaimed Burgundy estate producing some of Burgundy`s most highly regarded wines. Founded in the late 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is currently run by Noël Ramonet and his brother Jean-Claude. Old vines and low yields form the foundation of Ramonet`s viticultural ethos, and vines younger than 18 years are not used in the top cuvées. "Ramonet`s 2013 Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Boudriotte is drinking beautifully, wafting from the glass with a pretty nose of honey, white flowers and crisp orchard fruit that may reveal a light glaze of the botrytis that affected a number of 2013 white Burgundies. On the palate, the wine is medium-full and open knit, with a supple, silkily expansive attack, a sapid mid-palate and a pure, detailed finish. The Boudriotte is generally one of the more elegant and giving bottlings in the Ramonet cellar, and the 2013 is no exception." Wine Advocate, 2018
