Domaine Ramonet Chassagne-Montrachet Boudriotte 2010 is a full-bodied white Burgundy from the Premier Cru climat of Boudriotte in the Chassagne-Montrachet commune of the Côte de Beaune. The Chardonnays of Domaine Ramonet are true benchmarks of Burgundy terroir. Fermentations are carried out without much settling of the solids, while new oak is kept to a minimum. The resulting wines are pure, dense and complex, unveiling themselves slowly. Founded in the 1920s by Pierre Ramonet, the domaine is now managed by third-generation proprietors Noël and Jean-Claude Ramonet. "An elegant style, linear and defined, offering apple, grapefruit, butterscotch and mineral flavours intertwined with a vibrant structure. Stretches out on the long finish, with a touch of nut oil." Wine Spectator, 2012
