From the sublime 2018 vintage, the entire Rousseau range is blessed with effortless balance of endlessly complex fruit, texture and tension, with wonderful vineyard definition. This Grand Cru Charmes-Chambertin is produced from 0.61ha and 0.86ha of old vines in Charmes and Mazoyères, respectively. In previous vintages this was matured exclusively in seasoned barrels, but this saw a proportion of 20% new wood used.
