Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Chambolle-Musigny Les Châtelots Ghislaine Barthod 2005 is a Premier Cru red Burgundy crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the Les Châtelots vineyard in the Côte de Nuits. The vineyard spans approximately 0.40 hectares, featuring stony, clay-limestone soils that contribute to the wine`s profile. This vintage typically showcases aromas of cherry, raspberry and subtle floral notes, complemented by earthy undertones. On the palate, expect a medium-bodied structure with fine tannins and balancing acidity. Ghislaine Barthod is known for her meticulous approach to vineyard management and low-intervention winemaking techniques.

From just north of Les Feusselottes , the 2005 Chambolle-Musigny Les Chatelots offers a liqueur-like expression of black raspberry and cassis, its sweetness further enhanced by aromatic overtones of vanilla and gardenia, but never entirely shaking loose of an invigorating, tart fruit skin edge. This displays tremendous polish and proportionality on the palate, with refined tannins, an incipiently silken texture and an elegant persistence of both fresh and liqueur-like black fruits, sweet floral perfume, marrow, and faintly salty, chalky mineral notes. It is positively archetypal Chambolle and capable, I predict, of giving great pleasure anytime from the near future to 8-10 years out. There will be only a little over 100 cases. Sharing expanded wine-making facilities with her husband, Louis Boillot, Gislaine Barthod continues to render some of the purest, most expressively fruity and consistently excellent as well as ageworthy Pinots in Burgundy. All but the Bourgogne and village Chambolle – recently assembled in tank – were tasted from barrel. - David Schildknecht

Good red-ruby color. Dark raspberry, licorice, minerals and a whiff of menthol on the nose. Juicy, taut, elegant and reserved; less dense than the Combottes, with flavors of small wild berries. This showed darker aromas with aeration. Finishes with a note of blackberry.
