Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Chambertin Domaine Leroy 2002 is a Grand Cru wine from one of Burgundy`s most revered sites. Domaine Leroy, established by Lalou Bize-Leroy, is known for its biodynamic approach and low-yield philosophy, which enhances the expression of its vineyards. This vintage reflects the generally warm conditions of 2002, producing wines with a profound depth. The wine presents a dark ruby hue, indicative of its concentrated fruit. Aromas of black cherry and subtle earthiness mingle on the nose. The palate reveals a textured structure, marked by fine tannins and a mineral backbone. Aged in 100% new oak, this Chambertin exemplifies the estate`s commitment to purity and longevity.

Madame Leroy’s stunning 2002 Chambertin bursts from the glass with profound aromas of blackberries, tar, and licorice. This expansive, hugely concentrated, deep wine is medium to full-bodied, powerful, and seamless. This mocha, black fruit, and floral effort is noble, well-balanced, perfectly harmonious, and possesses an extraordinarily long finish.

Note: This estate’s 2002s are not yet released. The above estimate is based on the prices of the 2001s, taking into account that the dollar has significantly dropped.

Dark red. Three-dimensional aromas of dark fruits, minerals, roast coffee and musky underbrush. An extremely urgent grand cru with incredible texture and energy. Dense and almost painfully intense but utterly light on its feet for a wine of such sheer magnitude. Deeply spicy, complex and complete. Burgundian Royalty

The Leroy name is a key pillar of the Burgundian wine scene and a leading light in the Côte d'Or, with three main strands: Domaine Leroy, Maison Leroy and Domaine d'Auvenay (a small, biodynamically farmed Domaine founded by Lalou in 1988).

In 1988, recognising the trend towards domaine bottling in Burgundy, Lalou Bize-Leroy purchased what would become Domaine Leroy: an estate situated in Vosne-Romanée (previously known by the name Domaine Noëllat). Domaine Leroy labelled wines are thus are produced from parcels of grapes grown on the 22ha of domaine-owned Côte d'Or vineyards, which span nine different Grand Crus. These wines are produced biodynamically and at extremely low yields, resulting in superbly concentrated expressions of the Burgundian terroir.
