The 2013 Perrot-Minot Chambertin Clos de Bèze has a wonderfully vibrant, yet regal, nose of redcurrant, cranberry and stony minerality. Everything is perfectly in place and has an excellent sense of clarity and precision. A wine with a beautifully long, spicy finish that will age superbly over the next two decades.

The 2013 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze has a very refined and elegant bouquet with redcurrant, raspberry coulis and wet limestone scents. There is clearly very good transparency here, the terroir articulated with some panache. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp tannins. It is very focused with a sense of symmetry and poise, gradually building toward a spicy finish that feels long and tender. Excellent. - Neal Martin

Served en magnum, the 2013 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze Grand Cru has a high-toned, glycerin-rich bouquet that bulges with black fruit. The palate is powerful with commendable purity, then becomes a little burly towards the finish. Yet you cannot deny its satin texture, but I'd be inclined to afford this another three or four years in bottle (or magnum). Tasted at Clarette in London.Neal Martin25th June 2024

Not one of their domaine wines. Dark lively and spicy. Full of life and exuberance. Super fruity. Very rich with a great whack of fruit almost disguising the fruit. Big and bold with lots of fun for everyone. Sweet. Almost low in acid! Charming more than dense. (JR)
