Duty Charges

Below is a summary of the new duty charges per bottle as of February 2026. Please note that these vary depending on the ABV and are subject to change. Please get in touch if you require more information:

Transparent Billing and Rate Calculations

Annual Billing: Clients are invoiced annually based on the wines stored in the preceding year.
Case Equivalents: A case is defined as 9 litres of wine (typically twelve 750ml bottles), ensuring clarity in pricing.
Pro-Rata Charges: Storage fees are charged on a per-bottle basis, and wines stored for part of a month will be billed accordingly.

How to Use Our Bonded Storage

Purchase en primeur or under-bond wines from Hedonism Wines.
Automatically enjoy twelve months of free storage at our bonded storage when you open your storage account.
After twelve months, your storage will continue at the rates outlined above, with quarterly invoicing.
When you are ready to receive your wines, simply request delivery. Most orders are fulfilled within 3-4 working days.

Domaine Armand Rousseau Chambertin-Clos de Bèze 1995 is a Grand Cru Pinot Noir from a year that produced wines with a firm, traditional structure and high acidity. The vineyard sits on a well-drained slope of limestone and white clay, yielding wines of aromatic intensity. This 1995 release has matured into a sophisticated masterpiece, displaying a bouquet of dried roses, kirsch, forest floor and oriental spices. The palate is deep and concentrated, with the initially tough tannins of the vintage now fully integrated into a silky, seamless texture. After three decades, this wine shows a balance between its primary fruit and tertiary complexity.

Deep red-ruby color. Flamboyant, expressive aromas of kirsch, black raspberry, toffee, mint and dried flowers. Black cherry and black raspberry fruit flavors show an almost liqueur-like sweetness. Seamless texture like liquid velvet. Fat but very intensely flavored; note of licorice gives the wine even more lift. Superb expanding aftertaste, with rich, thoroughly ripe tannins. Dark ruby-colored, the killer Chambertin Clos de Beze floored me with its nose of roses, violets, black cherries and Asian spices. Its sublimely elegant palate impression is intense, complex, chewy, austere, minerally, stony, full-bodied and long. It possesses considerable tannin behind the rich fruit so it should be at its best between 2006 and 2016. This note is the result of tastings I did in Burgundy between January 7 and January 29. The wine was tasted from cask, not bottle. Pinot Noir, a fragile varietal, reacts poorly to fining, filtration, and careless bottling techniques, I recommend caution when considering buying a red burgundy based on cask samples. I called it as I tasted it, and hope the bottled wine reflects the quality of the samples I was provided.

Domaine Armand Rousseau is one of the shining stars of Burgundy and the wines it produces are by far some of the most collectible in the world. For four generations, the Rousseau family have worked tirelessly and passionately on some of the finest terroirs of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Gevrey-Chambertin, the domaine unquestionably sits amongst the greats of Burgundy with a portfolio of wines from some of the most revered vineyards in the region.

The domaine covers 15 hectares and three acres. Well-known for producing finely structured Pinot Noir reds of great elegance and remarkable longevity, the flagship Chambertin Grand Cru is extremely sought after.
