Domaine Alain Burguet Chambertin Clos de Bèze 2010 is a full-bodied Burgundy red wine from the Grand Cru climat of Clos de Beze in the Gevrey-Chambertin commune of the Côte de Nuits. Based in Gevrey Chambertin, Alain Burguet is a family-owned Domaine currently run by brothers Jean Luc and Eric. Covering approximately 9.5 hectares of vineyard, the estate has a strong focus on sustainable viticulture with biodynamic practices. The grapes are 100% destemmed and the use of new oak is very limited. This cuvée of from Clos de Bèze which, along with Le Chambertin, is one of the most prestigious and sought-after Grands Crus in Gevrey-Chambertin. "The 2010 Chambertin Clos-de-Bèze shows plenty of muscle in its dark red fruit, minerals, mint and liquorice. The Bèze is naturally very tightly wound, but there is more than enough depth and density to think it will be marvellous over time. The tension and energy of the finish are fabulous." Vinous
